The warning and indicator lamps indicate a number of different functions and possible faults.

A number of functions are monitored by the auto-check control. If a malfunction should occur, this will be shown by the display in the instrument cluster either with a red symbol (priority 1 – serious malfunction) or a yellow symbol (priority 2 – other malfunction or item requiring attention).
